The dressage stallion Franklin at Patrik Kittel!

The news came out a few days ago: the KWPN stallion by Ampère x Ferro has arrived in Germany, at the stables of the Swedish rider Patrik Kittel, where he will continue his training.

Big changes for the stallion

The 13 year old stallion, who had not competed since 2020 (he took part in the CDI 3* in Herning and Aarhus under the saddle of Danish rider Betina Jaeger), will now be ridden and trained by Patrik Kittel's rider, Swedish rider Malin Wahlkamp Nilsson, with whom he made his first public appearance at the Helgstrand Stallion Show in Vechta at the beginning of February 2023. 

A promising start to his career

Franklin won his KWPN studbook approval in 2013 and his performance test in the Netherlands. He participated successively in the World Championships for Young Horses at 5 and 6 years old under the saddle of Spanish rider Severo Jurado Lopez. He was then sold by Andreas Helgstrand and Nico Witte, and was not seen again until 2020 (at the age of 10), ridden by Betina Jaeger.
