Opglabbeek welcomed the dressage riders on this first weekend of April for a CDI 4*: despite the bad weather, the riders made the trip as no less than 44 of them participated in the 4* label. 

Jovian, owned by his rider Andreas Helgstrand, is the stallion of all possibilities. This son of Apache (ridden by Emmelie Scholtens at the highest level) and of Zinith (by Tango) has an unblemished record.

Dressage stallion Sandro Hit, who passed away last summer, was and will remain a legend in world dressage. The son of Sandro Song (Sandro) and Loretta (Ramino), who had been in the top 10 of the world's best dressage stallions according to the WBFSH for the past 10 years, left at the top of the list in 2021.

The stallion Rubi AR has put the Lusitano breed on the map like no other before him in the discipline of dressage. He has had a spectacular sporting career and his offspring seem to be doing the same. 

WFFS is a genetic disease that is well known to breeders and stallions. It is mainly seen in sport horses and is only transmitted through breeding animals. Screening can help to avoid cross-breeding which could lead to the foal being affected.

The son of dressage legend Totilas, Tolegro, previously owned by international rider Bernadette Brune, has left Germany for Canada and more specifically Canadream Farm, Ontario. The approved stallion will be stationed at MJ Proulx, and will be available to North American mares in fresh semen for the upcoming breeding season.

Jazz, born "Jacob", has had a great career, both as a sporthorse and as a sire. This stallion, by Cocktail and Charmante (Ulster), was born to Huub and Tinie van Helvoirt in Holland on 21 May 1991. He was sold to Bob van Rijsdijk at the age of 6 months. He was approved for the KWPN studbook in 1994 at the age of 3. 

In June 2020, the "Cheval de Dressage Français" Stud-Book was created and is now a full-fledged Selection Body that legitimises the existence of the Cheval de Dressage Français breed. 

The Lusitano stallion, a member of the Portuguese dressage team at the highest level under the saddle of Daniel Pinto, passed away on 23 February 2022 at the age of 28.

Negro (Ferro x Variant) is one of those stallions that have made their mark on the international dressage discipline with a remarkable record of success and incredible offspring.
