Oscar des Fontaines is the archetypal modern showjumping stallion, with a harmonious, distinguished and modern physique. He is a stallion who has shown great qualities both in his breeding career and in his performance career, as his time under the saddle of Pénélope Leprevost attests

Finalist in the French Championships for 4, 5, 6 and 7 years old. In 2010, under the saddle of Pénélope Leprévost, he won the Grand Prix Sires of The World in Lanaken, 2nd in the Grand Prix CSI*** in Canteleu, 4th in a 1.50m at the CSI*** in Canteleu, 6th in a 1.50m at the CSIO in St. Gallen, 7th in the Grand Prix CSI** in Fontainebleau, 7th in the Grand Prix Pro Elite Grand National in Le Mans... In 2011, he won a 1.50m class at the CSIW in Lyon, a 1.45m class at the CSI*** in Caen, 3rd in a 1.50m class at the CSI*** in Donaueschingen, 3rd in a 1.45m class at the CSI***** GCT in Abu Dhabi, 4th in a 1.45m class at the Falsterbo CSIO, 5th in a 1.45m class at the Mechelen CSIW, 7th in a 1.55m class at the Lyon CSIW, 7th in a 1.45m class at the Chantilly CSI***** GCT.
