It's hard to find a more modern pony-sized hole! Blomquist is an elegant, slender stallion with incredible suppleness, ample gaits and very good activity. Ideal for crossing with mares, pony or horse, thick and lacking in chic and locomotion.
Son of Bond, a small 157cm Hannoveraner, he is a grandson of Belstaff, who has turned out as far as Grand Prix Dressage. Bond's dam is a daughter of Londonderry, Inter I Dressage, sire notably of Limei de Lys, Lacost 10, Lonswelt, Londonbeat who turned in St Georges and Inter I, or Ludowitz, Gracieux Von Het Lindenhof, London Dreams, Louisa 34, Grand Prix Dressage. Note that Londonderry is the grandfather of D'Avie, double World Champion Young Horse.
On his dam's side, Blomquist's dam is Pav Emma Pearl, the full sister of the stallion Nemax, who has 20 approved stallion sons to her credit and has successfully progressed to St Georges and Inter I. Edda Eleisa, Blomquist's granddam, is also the dam of three approved stallion sons. Niveau, the grandfather, is a winner up to L level (amateur 1) in dressage and show jumping.
