SO UNIQUE

So Unique is one of 16 stallion sons of Sezuan, World Champion Young Horse at 5, 6 and 7 years old. His production includes Shizeido (finalist at Ermelo in 2018), Janeiro Platinum and Secret.

So Unique's dam is Daiquiri by Donnerhall, who has produced 120 approved stallions and 130 award-winning mares for total earnings exceeding €3 million. Donnerhall was notably a bronze medalist at the 1994 World Equestrian Games in The Hague and fourth at the 1998 Games in Rome.

Her second dam Wicke is the dam of St. Petersburg (by Sandro Bedo), the second dam of Scolari (by Sandro Hit), Flanell (by Fidertanz), Sir Stanislaus (by Sandro Hit) and Fat's Domino, and the third dam of Quattroporte (by Quantensprung). She herself is out of Welmeyer, who has produced several German and pleasure champions and over 100 approved stallions.

So Unique's third dam is Geranie, from whom Aleman and Worldman were sired. She also produced Avignon and Weltina, dams of Belfort, Dramatic, Fuerst Rousseau, Ramina K and Rhodes Scholar.

So Unique was a Hanoverian approval winner in 2017. He was approved to the DWB studbook in 2018, with a Premium Stallion rating. In the same year, he was German Champion 3-year-old and winner of the Westphalian Championship.

In 2019, he was the winner of the 4-year-olds at the World Championships in Ermelo, with remarkable scores of 10 for walk, 9 for trot, 9.7 for canter and a final score of 9.64.

In his performance test in Denmark, he wins scores of 9 for trot, canter, rideability and potential and earns an excellent overall score of 8.72.

In 2020, he scored 9 for all three gaits, ease under saddle and overall impression in his qualification for the German 5-year old Championships with Eva Möller. He finished tenth with an overall score of 8.1. He was still qualified for the World Championships for Young Horses, which could not take place due to the pandemic.
